Our mission [F.E.E.T.] is to promote functional improvement in a warm and friendly environment with the assistance of experts in the care of lower extremity dysfunction through the creation of an individualized plan of care that utilizes the most current and evidence-based treatment procedures.
Our Philosophy
“Helping you take your next step”
The therapists of Martin Foot and Ankle Physical Therapy commit themselves to being experts in the assessment and rehabilitation of lower extremity dysfunctions. We believe that all patients deserve individual attention from a therapist, providing direct supervision during exercises and manually treating affected body regions. We utilize the most up to date treatment procedures, we strive for the shortest length of stay that achieves maximum physical functioning and we promote education that enables clients to understand their individual movement dysfunctions and how to minimize the effects of those dysfunctions through independent home programs.
Staff
Our team of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants are licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and are committed to professional excellence by participating in yearly continuing education conferences and seminars. Our staff specializes in the treatment of lower extremity dysfunction and uses the most current evidenced-based treatment procedures to help you meet your highest functional level.

Patient Information
Our clinic is committed to timeliness and quality of care within a warm, friendly environment. This brief list of information will help take the “unexpected” out of your first visit to our physical therapy office.
1. Wear comfortable clothing that can expose your knees, ankles and feet and wear shoes that are appropriate for exercising.
2. Your initial therapy session will take between 1 and 1 ½ hours. Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the necessary paperwork
3. Your physical therapist will complete a thorough evaluation on the first visit and discuss the findings with you. Together you will both create a list of goals that will help you return to work, to play and/or to your typical daily activities with the highest level of functioning. The therapist will then create a personalized plan of care for your treatment.
4. The success of physical therapy relies on attending regularly scheduled sessions so be prepared with your daily calendar and we will try our best to meet your scheduling needs for subsequent visits.
5. Your physical therapist will guide you through exercises and some of those will be used as a home program. Your successful outcome in therapy relies on you taking an active role in your recovery and being consistent with the activities prescribed by the physical therapist.
6. Your therapist is available to answer questions about your care. Our primary goal is to help you gain functional improvement so don’t hesitate to ask questions or share information that could influence your outcome.
