Physical Therapist Assistant - NOT CURRENTLY RECRUITING
Martin Foot and Ankle has an immediate need for an energetic, self-motivated PTA to join our growing physical therapy team. Our physical therapy clinic specializes in LE dysfunction providing an opportunity to focus on the lower kinematic chain. The Physical Therapist Assistant's purpose is to restore and maximize a patient's function, alleviate pain and promote patient independence with exercise by administering medically prescribed physical therapy as determined by a licensed physical therapist.
- Possess strong initiative to get daily work finished and processed;
- Typing and basic computer skills;
- A courteous, understanding and sympathetic attitude towards patients and staff;
- Ability to work with other staff and communicate effectively with all staff and patients;
- A current Pennsylvania PTA license (and indirect supervision or the ability to obtain upon hire); and
- Two years experience working in physical therapy is required.
Hours will include early evening hours.
