POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Martin Foot and Ankle is recruiting for an upbeat, positive and outgoing Physical Therapy Receptionist/Tech to work in our Physical Therapy department. This is a fast paced, interactive position that includes, but is not limited to, daily interaction with patients while assisting the Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants in daily activities related to patient care both directly and indirectly. The Physical Therapy Receptionist/Tech will be responsible for preparing the clinic to receive patients, ensuring a safe environment, greeting, welcoming and transporting patients to and from the treatment area plus other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess knowledge/education in exercise science, movement science or kinesiology; or
• Experience working in a position utilizing exercise science/kinesiology.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Knowledge of general office procedures;
• Superb computer skills;
• Electronic medical record experience is a plus;
• High school diploma or GED required;
• An extensive understanding of HIPAA regulations.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

This position will cover both Receptionist and Tech responsibilities. The schedule for this position will be during normal weekday hours but will include some evenings until 7:00pm. Flexibility to travel to other locations, as needed, is required.
