Martin Foot and Ankle is recruiting for an upbeat, organized and detail-oriented Scheduler. This is an interactive, customer-focused position that includes, but is not limited to, daily interaction with patients via telephone and email with occasional face-to-face interactions while scheduling appointments and providing high quality customer service. The Scheduler will be responsible for promptly answering telephone calls and emails, efficiently answering and directing inquiries, taking accurate messages and relaying the information to the appropriate parties, sending proper documentation for the scheduled appointments and other duties as assigned.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills;
- A pleasant demeanor, positive attitude and outgoing personality;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Knowledge of general office procedures;
- Superb computer skills;
- Electronic medical record experience is a plus;
- A high school diploma or GED required;
- An extensive understanding of HIPAA regulations;
- Previous experience in the medical field or scheduling is strongly preferred.
The schedule could range anytime from 6:30am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday; so flexibility is required. The tentative schedule will be 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Thursday and 6:30am to 3:30pm on Fridays, unless scheduling needs change.
