Dear Valued Patient,
At this time of unprecedented uncertainty, your health remains our utmost priority. We are following all recommended CDC protocols and using all tools available to us to ensure the health of our patients, staff and communities.
Telehealth is an option we are instituting for consultation with your doctor. This would be a scheduled video or phone engagement with your doctor to discuss your health needs and progress. This type of visit would be paid for in the same way an office visit is paid by your health insurance. You will need a smartphone, tablet or computer with a camera for a video call. Our telemedicine visits are HIPAA compliant as they are generated through our electronic medical record.
Our offices will remain open to see patients as many remain in need of X-rays, procedures and direct examination.
If you would like to change your current appointment from an in-office visit to a virtual or telemedicine visit please contact the Martin Foot and Ankle office in the 3 days prior to your visit to change your type of appointment. We will need to know your smartphone carrier/service provider and recommend being connected to wifi for the appointment. Once you have a scheduled virtual/telemedicine appointment, you will receive a text or email with a link to connect with your doctor at your appointed time.
We continue to follow all recommended CDC protocols to protect each other and continue to provide the care you trust from us.
The Martin Foot and Ankle Team
